Van Halen/David Lee Roth Rumours and Speculation

Just a very quick update before I go away for the weekend...

Miss Truth
column at CDNOW Allstar News has a very well written
article by Sorelle Saidman about the recent happenings in the Van Halen/David Lee Roth camp.
Although it's in the Miss Truth column, and thus should be filed under the
"rumour/heresay" section of Van Halen information, the article washes with
a lot of the information I've heard from people claiming to be "insiders".

A rumour was posted on the
official VH message board in January that Roth
was booking club dates for March. I received confirmation from one venue that
negotiations were taking place for a show on March 13. I was also emailed
by an anonymous reader in January who claimed that Roth had been
in the studio with two former touring band members in December. One of the
songs they allegedly recorded was a cover of James Brown's Living In America.
I get the feeling that we won't be hearing anything official from Van Halen
or David Lee Roth for a few months...

Dec 31, 2000 - 2000: The Year In Review
2000 has come and gone, and I don't have to tell you that it was probably
the most frustrating year ever in the life of Van Halen fans. "No news is
good news" got old real fast.
