Sammy Hagar Becomes A Father Again

Last Saturday night Kari Hagar gave birth to Samantha Pastel Hagar. She weighed
in at 6 pounds 1 ounce. Congratulations to Sammy and Kari! The full press release

RED ROCKER SAMMY HAGAR AND WIFE, KARI WELCOME THEIR SECOND CHILD TOGETHER
Sammy and Kari Hagar gave birth to their second daughter on Sat. March 24. Samantha Pastel
Hagar was born at 8:04 pm on Saturday in a Northern California hospital. Samantha
weighed in at a healthy 6 lbs., 1 oz., and is the second child for the couple, who
have been married since 1995. Sammy has two sons from a previous marriage.
Sammy will take some time off in the coming months to spend time with his newly
expanded family, and will continue working on material for a new album.
Sammy Hagar has sold over 40 million albums worldwide including 15 solo albums
(five are gold, five are platinum), six Van Halen albums (all six multi-platinum
worldwide) and two Montrose albums (one platinum). Throughout his career, Sammy
has played to over 50 million fans worldwide and he continues to demonstrate the
great songs and signature rock vocals that have made him a rock icon.

2000 has come and gone, and I don't have to tell you that it was probably
the most frustrating year ever in the life of Van Halen fans. "No news is
good news" got old real fast.
