Michael Anthony/VH Radio/Gary Cherone Update
May 4, 2001 -
Michael Anthony has posted a message on his web site inviting fans
down to Peppers restaurant in Arcadia, CA this Saturday to celebrate
Cinco de Mayo. Here's the message:
Hey everyone, I'll be celebrating Cinco De Mayo Michael Anthony style at my favorite little
Mexican restaurant here in Arcadia, CA - Peppers!
Those of you with your smart glasses on will recognize it as the place where my latest
Yamaha ad was shot. So if you're in the neighborhood, drop on by and check out the
festivities! Maybe we'll even do a shot or two! Ow! - Michael
Fans are advised to arrive early because a big crowd is expected.
Van Halen Radio Status
I've received a lot of emails asking what has happened to the official Van Halen
radio station. As you may know, the station has been off the air recently, with
the only explanation being the message "Van Halen Radio has been temporarily suspended."
Brad Starks, webmaster of the official Van Halen web site -
www.van-halen.com - posted this message
on the "VH" list yesterday:
A couple of legal issues that are being worked out right now. Don't worry, it
will be back! :)
And no, it has nothing to do with the THX sound.
Gary Cherone's New Song Debuts On Radio
KRXQ DJ and Van Halen nut Paul Marshall
played Tribe Of Judah's new song Left For Dead last night at 5pm PDT. Tribe
of Judah is of course Gary Cherone's new band. You may remember that Left For
Dead was the title of one of the many songs written by Gary for the next Van
Halen album.

Dec 31, 2000 - 2000: The Year In Review
2000 has come and gone, and I don't have to tell you that it was probably
the most frustrating year ever in the life of Van Halen fans. "No news is
good news" got old real fast.
