Jason's Hot Licks video is expected to be released very soon. It will be titled
"The Legendary Guitar of Jason Becker", and will be a two hour, two video set.
If you haven't already, check out my interview with Jason Becker from earlier this year:

Jason's web site has recently been updated
with lots of never-before-seen photos.
He has also added a new section dedicated to "never heard recordings". This is
a goldmine if you're interested in hearing some of Jason's unreleased work.
If you want to hear how Drop In The Bucket sounded in its raw form,
you can hear a Jason's early demo version. You can also listen to the demo tape
that Jason put together at short notice for David Lee Roth to listen to. It features
Jason playing Hot For Teacher, Skyscraper and Yankee Rose
over a drum machine. All songs were learned and recorded in one night. After
hearing these demos, it's easy to see why Dave quickly signed up the 20 year old
guitar whiz to the coveted position held previously by Edward Van Halen and
Steve Vai.

Dec 31, 2000 - 2000: The Year In Review
2000 has come and gone, and I don't have to tell you that it was probably
the most frustrating year ever in the life of Van Halen fans. "No news is
good news" got old real fast.
