David Lee Roth Tour Dates

David Lee Roth has announced that he will playing three shows in late
June, with more to come. The following announcement was posted on

Just when you thought the long hot dog days of summer would go by without
that raucous, rowdy tour machine firing up- think again 'cos DIAMOND DAVE
is hitting the road to save the day!
Special dates have been scheduled so far in the mid-western US.
No beach there you say? Well DIAMOND DAVE is bringing the whole she-bang straight to you.
So dig that BBQ pit and ready those bikinis, DIAMOND DAVE is on his way to:
AMERISTAR, Kansas City, MO - June 22, 2001
THE ROCK, Maplewood, MN - June 23, 2001
WILD ROSE AMPHITHEATRE, Bottineau, ND - June 30, 2001

shows that Dave will be sharing the bill at the above two shows with the
following artists:
June 23 - Blue Oyster Cult and Firehouse
June 30 - Creedence Clearwater Revisited, John Kay & Steppenwolf, Mindy Gunn, Survivor
and Vince Neil
The June 30 show looks to be part of a 4-day festival titled Rockin' The Hills.
Artists playing over the other three days include Edgar Winter, Slaughter,
Poison, Asia, Double Trouble, Kansas, Ted Nugent and Tesla. David Lee Roth will
be headlining the Saturday night show.
The only confirmed member of Dave's band at the moment is
Bart Walsh on guitar.

2000 has come and gone, and I don't have to tell you that it was probably
the most frustrating year ever in the life of Van Halen fans. "No news is
good news" got old real fast.
