Wolfgang Van Halen remembered Van Halen’s ‘A Different Kind Of Truth’ via Twitter today on what is the album’s ninth anniversary.

Released on February 7th, 2012 ‘A Different Kind Of Truth’ is the twelfth and final studio album from Van Halen. It was the first studio album recorded with David Lee Roth in 28 years. It entered the US Billboard 200 at number two, selling 188,000 copies in its first six days of release, becoming the group’s 14th consecutive top ten album in the US.
Van Halen released videos for two of the album’s singles – “Tattoo” and “She’s The Woman”. “Tattoo” (released 1/10/12) reached #67 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #16 on the Billboard Rock Songs chart. It became Van Halen’s first single to chart on the American Billboard Hot 100 in 17 years, and their 23rd overall. “She’s The Woman” (released 2/28/12) reached #23 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock chart.
