On his Facebook yesterday, former Skid Row singer, Sebastian Bach expressed his excitement about being able to open for the Mighty Van Halen at the Stone Music festival in April. Bach is one of the vocalists for the classic rock supergroup “Kings of Chaos” that will be taking the stage before Van Halen. Here is what he had to say:
Hey Australia! What can I say about @VanHalen ? Diamond @DavidLeeRoth @eddievanhalen Alex and @wolfvanhalen !! I am beyond honored and excited to play with the Mighty VAN HALEN! I have been doing this a long time and there are very few bands I have not yet played with. This is the first time I have ever got to play with the Mighty Van Halen! This is literally a dream come true. I cannot believe that I get to play with my all-time heroes and to go on right before them in Sydney Australia is just mind blowing! Also on the bill are Billy Joel and Buckcherry , a killer lineup for sure! See you April 20 Sydney Australia!! Get ready to rock with the Kings of Chaos and Van Halen!!!
Sebastian Bach is a long time Van Halen fan, and has made that well known over the years. Last April, he released a video telling his “Best Story Ever“, a tale of when Bach, Axl Rose, and David Lee Roth were put in a car together. You can watch the video here.
In January of last year, Sebastian also led the Steve Stevens band in true to heart rendition of Hot for Teacher, Daveisms and all. Watch it below:
