Eddie Trunk spent his entire “Trunk Nation” radio show on March 14th talking about what Van Halen should do next. And has made up his mind — he’s hoping for what he refers to as “The Ultimate Van Halen Situation.”
“That is the potential of a tour that [Sammy Hagar] would be willing to do that would also include David Lee Roth. Both Sam and Dave doing a set with Van Halen, doing their material, and then maybe come out at the end to do some jam and, of course, Michael Anthony would be the bass player.”
That was Trunk’s response to Sammy Hagar’s recent comments to Billboard stating that the only way he’d be part of a Van Halen reunion would be if it included both himself and David Lee Roth singing and original bassist Michael Anthony returning to the band.
